So a quick update... somewhat surprisingly, so far it's just Thargoid Sensors. Links and the random junk you get floating around a base doesn't hurt you.

That was a really cool close up view with that probe OP. I didn't notice - do you get damaged with shields up? Can you pop the probe with a pistol?
