Thargoid Scout Missions

According to a video that CMDR Exigeous made 10 months ago, stations under repair offer missions to kill scouts in nearby systems. I've been to three stations that are under repair. Not one has scout missions. Was this a thing of the past? If so, why isn't there Thargoid missions available? I am so bored with killing pirates.

Those missions spawn at stations that are not burning in systems under incursion/attack, but when the incursion is defeated the missions stop spawning. Check the Galnet Thargoid Activity Report to see what Systems have Thargoid activity: if it says "No Thargoid presence." then no missions.

In my experience it is spotty at to which stations will offer missions, sometimes it takes a while for them to start showing up, sometimes it takes a while for them to repopulate the mission board, and sometimes I'm left wondering how long to wait before giving up or trying another station.

I've done a few recently but they are lame. I'd rather they were like old school massacre missions that could be completed in a (AX) cz.
