Thargoid Ship HIP 17403 4A4

Couldn’t find it anywhere. Went last night and spent 2 hours searching around the co-ords as supplied in the engineers guide on REDIT. Ami doing something wrong? I definitely have the right coordinates but there’s no large crater as others have described. -34.98, -141.30. Wondered if anyone had any ideas please.

Probably should have used the DSS. Especially if in Odyssey as, ofc, everything has moved.

Edit: And after identifying it in the DSS drop out of SC to actually see it ... until they fix that bug ...

Rgr, I did indeed use the DSS and you are correct it has moved location, in fact it’s on the other side of the planet. There doesn’t now appear to be a sensor array at this location, so I guess I’m going to need to look elsewhere 🤣

Or go there in Horizons.

Oddy seems to be really mucking about with drops of all sorts.

I think you should know this. How this Thargoid link and signal works? I read it on Fandom :
"Thargoid Links can be combined with Unknown Signals to lead the way to other Thargoid Surface Sites. After activating an Unknown Device and acquiring its Unknown Signals, take an Unknown Link into space and deploy it. Next, play one of the Unknown Signals."
I tried doing it but nothing happened.

I tried that but it didn't work. First off all is it normal to get 2 msg instead 3 ? because I got only 2. Should the signal audio be stored somewhere ?

So to close this out some. I was playing in Odyssey and the planet surface is a completely different layout. Switching back to Horizons, the Thargoid ship was exactly where it was supposed to be. Thanks for the help with this!!
