Has anyone seen this in person? I thought these sightings wouldn't happen until 2.4 Any idea where to see this myself?

You can also get hyperdictions and encounters at barnacles at the moment, though all are rare.

I spent a couple of hours in Maia last night in normal space, but no mission incoming, so far.

I'm only allied with PRE, and I have to wonder whether I may need to be allied with one of the other factions, to actually get the inbox mission

As far as I know there's an old legend that states the Thargoid spinning tops can be summoned by modifying a D-scanner to amplify someone yelling "LET IT RIP!"
