Guys I've posted on the xbox forums as this is the platform I'm on. But let me know what you think. So there I was on my first exploring expedition down to pleiades sector to get the engineers unlocked with some meta alloys. Mapping every system on my way. I get to Aries Dark Region YU-O B6-3 nothing in the system except some non human signal sources. So being the curious type I decide to check it out. Now I know this is bug central area and yes silly me, it did say threat level 6!
So drop out of super cruise and bang I'm in the middle if what looks like 20 plus thargoid scouts. My scanner is full of little red dots and lines. And boy do they want to show me how good their weapons are. So under 20 seconds later and I'm at the rebuy screen.
Not to be deterred I immediately head back down there and map out the surrounding systems. Honestly guys the place is crawling with Thargoids Non Human Signal Sources threat level 4 through to 9. One system there were 7 signals all around one planet like they were having a party.
So not having been in this area and not having encountered Thargoids since 1989 I have to ask is this normal for such large groups to be collected in this area? Or have I stumbled onto a Thargoid invasion staging area. I've not seen or read about anyone encountering such large groups but then I might be wrong.
