Thargoid Station Attack Weyn Dock/64 Arietis Evacuation + Combat Zones?

On top of the standard BGS cycles, I think it's clear that the Thargoid station attack/burning station + Mega/Rescue Ships scenarios are manually inserted into each selected system by Frontier. The visuals and atmosphere of these stations have been well-received and popular

Wouldn't it be possible enhance these scenarios just a bit more? A few oddities based on my recent visit to 64 Arietis system (Weyn Dock) but I'm sure these are present in all affected systems at least on 2.4.09:

  • GalNet broadcasts a call to all independent CMDRs to rush to the affected systems to assist the rescue of panicked refugees and personnel from the attacked stations and ferry them to the nearby megaship and risk their necks for little to no financial gain.
  • However, at the same time two or more of the leading factions in 64 Arietis had been actively blasting each other in at least 3 different--2 High and 1 Low-Intensity--Combat Zones within 20 LS of the attacked stations that their major star port is in shambles and burning with the usual squadron of Vipers providing System Authority defensive screens as deterrents agains speeding violators, plus one or two ASP Explorer rescue ships circling the station without doing anything in particular.
  • There were tons of Threat 7 NHSSes popping up everywhere--nothing else-- but System Authority ships had been pulling me out of SC for the utterly pointless military interception routines in 3 mins avg interval.
  • I choose not to go thru the single Checkpoint USS (but neither did the Thargoids in all likelihood).
  • Traffic in the nearby 4 or 5 resource extraction zones were also unaffected, but this was less immersion-breaking than the CZs since raw materials need to be mined to repair the damage, etc.

The likely response could be "it's too much work for the BGS guys" or something like that, but the Thargoid Invasion is The centerpiece for the 2.4->Beyond releases. I can understand they couldn't support hundreds of NPC vessels converging in a single instance given the current net code limitations--Squadrons will be interesting to watch--but at least put the darn things in pause and release a few newsbits instead of the canned "Faction X anticipates gaining Y% influence" and Superpower Z will anticipate the blasted station "will soon become an active economic hub in the near future."

Just wanted to throw this out there for discussion.
