As the Thargoids tried to attack Shinarta Dehzra (please pardon the mispelling), the Thargoids do a last surprise attack against the home systems of the Federation, Alliance, Empire, Colonia, and the Explorer's Anchorage system near Sag A at the same time in an attempt to disrupt and confuse humanity. Just an idea. It would definitely be a challenge with two of the locations spread out as they are.

I would just let Colonia and Explorer's Anchorage burn. 
Why Explorer's Anchorage, out of all the places? It's not as if that's a population center... or important industrial/military location... or important anything. Popular with explorers and tourists, I guess.
... I'd let all of them get whacked by the goid hammer, Anchorage mostly because of the distance. Colonia, whatever I was gonna do with my alt over there anyway (nothing, because it stays in the Bubble and I haven't bothered to do engineers over there). And on an RP basis I'd be quite happy to see the superpowers' capitals get lit on fire so they get some in retaliation for their obscene stupidity in the face of the Thargoids.
