What if the Cyclops, Basilisk and other are just autonomous ships that work like biomachines by themselves.

All that has been reported are autonomous Thargoid vessels. Not a single living one has been found. Maybe the mycoid has killed them all.

I've written before, but I'll say it again. From the game you can see that the targoids are only on those ships that intercept us. Ships that are at unknown points do not contain targoids.
