Thargoids aren't the only bugs in the Pleiades Nebula

Strange Going's on In Pleiades!

Commanders have been reporting strange goings on in the Pleiades Nebula
as part of the ongoing efforts against the latest Thargoid threat.

Several Commanders have reported Thargoid Samples, Hearts and Other Xeno
materials not being returned to the cargo hold once collected.

One Commander was reported as saying "Considering there's a full on invasion going
on, one could be forgiven to think everything is coming up roses considering how
hard it is to find the equipment needed to go up against these bugs but it takes
the hardtack when things just disappear from your hold."

Some put this down to space fatigue whilst other commanders are buying into
the conspiracy theory that we are all living in some type of hard light holographic
universe shouting "Well why did the planets all turn beige man...WHY DID THEY TURN BEIGE".

One things for Sure....This commanders going to go back to doing something more interesting
until this thing blows over.....and it surely does blow.

I wonder how many of these CMDRS have damaged or switched off cargo holds & doors...

It's true, cargo is missing. Not only when you trying to collect samples but when I got Thargoid Biomatter from crashed Scout (and I double checked if I have it in my cargo hold when flying) I was hyperdicted, so I boost, used field neutralizer and got away before they scan me. And surprise! No cargo in my cargo hold...

They are still there. They just left the cargo hold...

This is probly similar to player versus player piracy, where the stolen cargo dissapears if the other player leaves the instance before you.

As this is Thargoid stuff, I'm guessing a lot of the commanders who's cargo has dissapeared, were in a wing, or at least in an instance with other commanders.

Unfortunately, being in another instance with another player, can cause cargo dissapearances.

It's porbably an attempt to stop cargo duping, but, it's over zealous/bugged/network eats it.

I wasn't in a wing. I was getting samples single handed.

Is this FD v's player piracy?

Never had a problem getting samples. However, I've seen numerous YT videos where they forget to open the cargo hatch and the research limpet stupidly goes splat against their hull.

also going going on and rather odd:

1) sometimes don't get Pilot's Federation bounty for killing a goid in a wing despite doing damage (considering that the CG requires this, that sucks)
2) all kinds of problems jumping into wingmate's wake and nav beacon
3) no combat rank awarded for killing Tharoids (you'd think the hardest fight in the game would give some kind of rank increase...but no, after 20 kills, still nothing)
4) doing zero damage to hearts at point blank rage with guns directly on target
5) multiple Thargon swarms active at once and swarms launching one after another without a break
6) disconnects when destroying second heart in solo
7) jumping into a wing beacon and seeing your wingmates shooting at nothing while they claim to be shooting at a goid
8) thargon swarms that "run away" and circle the battle at long distance
9) thargon swarms that follow the goid and don't do anything
10) invisible thargon swarms

Maybe the bugs are trying to protect the bugs, but there would be a bunch more dead ones otherwise.

At the current pace that Frontier is revealing the Thargoids it'll be several years till we see a third living alien species which is a pity. :(

Would like to see a sentient machine species, reptiles and felines. :)
