Thargoids don't attack Federation Systems

Don't know if this has been mentioned before as i have been away from the game for a bit... but has anyone noticed that out of all the damaged stations by Thargoids, none of them are owned by the Federation ?
To go even further, most don't even have a Federal presence in them at all.

If this is legit, then why would an alien race care about what faction a station is with ? We would all be 'human' to them, therefor all be a threat.

This leads me to believe that the Federation is probably behind these attacks and masking themselves as Thargoids.

From 5 minutes looking at the galmap - LHS 6187, HIP 44811, HR 3499, Dulerce, Li Tzicnii have repairing stations, and are Federation. Or Ross 695 which is currently being attacked, but has Federation factions.

Don't tell me - they attacked themselves as a cover story ;)

I added the Federation Only filter to the galmap and none of the fed systems showed up as being attacked.
Ross 695 comes up as not having an Allegiance.

I'll go visit the system and see what Allegiances are there

It's a cover story. Come, join the ritual at the Archambault Terminal. The heliacal signs will soon be aligned, and the great work is nearing completion. Well Look at it this way. The Federation built "The Wall" around their Stations. On the other hand, The Alliance and The Empire have welcomed the Thargoids with open arms, claiming "We Are All One Galaxy" as their slogan. Its no wonder things stand as they are. Cheers! They are using the same plan as the Necromongers. Start with the outside systems first then work your way in. The Universe vs the Underverse!
