Thargoids heading for Li Yong space...

It could happen... some gent reported being hyperdicted well within the bubble this past week... but none of it's going to matter if Thargos finds the last of the Infinity Stones.

That's exactly the trajectory.

Unlike AEGIS, Li Yong Rui has Sirius and their access to money and funds, I'd expect a major station like Ray Gateway to be rapidly repaired and not this slow crap that's like the Oracle or Obsidian Orbital. Unless Frontier is really out of touch with the playerbase and is delusional to think that this is what people want when the math has already shown it'll take years to repair all the damn stations at the current rate.

Next they'll blow up the Sim-Archives because Antal decided to upgrade it with some Thargoid technology and probably threw in some Guardian technology for good measure. Not only did they have a virtual slap fight in the Archive, the incident also alerted the Thargoids that someone has been particularly naughty.

Minds sharing what's so special about that station?

It's for the most part a one-stop shopping place. Nearly all ships and modules available at that fine fine 15% discount on everything. Though for me it would be worse if the Thargoids shut down Harm. That's the only place in the galaxy to buy the Cutter at 15% off, if nothing has changed.

So it's basically the Founders World for those without the elite title, huh?

Better as the surrounding systems cover everything else needed and with another 5% discount for a sweet 15% discount (before factoring having an Elite rank) in any ship or module or part. Which means cheaper outfitting and in terms of mega expensive parts, cheaper rebuys when a ganker or Thargoid blows you up.

OP, the Thargs aren't invading. They're protecting themselves from AEGIS. You have nothing to worry about unless you station gets an AEGIS office.

At their current speed - IF they chose to attack all Assets - it would take them how long?

67,704 Assets, some 67600 representing the bubble.

At 4 per week, that's some 316 years to "conquer the entire bubble". 3.16 years to conquer 1/100th of it.
I guess that could be called a Non-issue.

The Thargoids will become more and more active. Let's hope that Frontier controls them, these insects could destroyi the game in the medium term

I think it would be very unwise to extrapolate the Thargoid's heading, based on their progress so far. Why? Because all you are actually doing is following the line of the Aegis Labs, which was of course determined by humans, not Thargoids.

Where they go, or what they do, next is very hard to predict.

The control system that included Harm was turmoiled away from LYR a couple of weeks ago. There is nowhere you can buy a Cutter at 15% discount right now.
You can get one at 10% discount from Jameson Memorial in Shinrarta Dezhra.

As for the line being extrapolated, it is simply going through the list of 20-odd stations from that Galnet announcing the Aegis labs. Apart from 2 stations in Pleiades itself, we've come to the end of that list. We don't know what's going to happen next, so next Thursday morning is going to be when we find out what the devs have in store for us.

Now I realise why the welcome message has been cut off at Engineer bases. It is to be replaced on Tuesday by a Thargoid announcing each base is under their control :D

That is a particularly sick and twisted sense of humour you have there Lightspeed :p

After everybody has spent ages gathering mats for another round of engineering on all of their ships...
