I'm sorry but don't blame it on Solo players, your system is under Odyssey attack. I'm in Alici system doing all kind of damage to anarchists by completing Odyssey missions. Odyssey missions like Sabotage, Raid, Digital or Covert Infiltration will cause havoc to any Faction. I can cause civil war by myself in a system overnight by completing few of these missions. I play in Open (by myself, no squardon) and I can prove to you that you cant stop me from creating a Civil War in your faction overnight. What is your faction system ?

I don't know what AXI discord is but that is impressive and I mean it.

but I don't follow AXI. I do kill Cyclops with ease flying mid ships like K MK2 or Python. Do you need a large ship to kill Medusa ? seems to me like mid ships can only handle cyclops or basilisk.
I killed exactly 0 and unless they come to places I hold dear that number won't change.

1 Medusa (killed by yourself) in mid ship = 100 SDPs and I will add 200 Opinion Polls and 500 Manufacturing Instructions and maybe 100 Power Regulators.

The arguably best ship for AX combat is the Alliance Chieftain. Krait mk2 is also among the best.I do know what discord is

But what i actually compared was the grindiness of the action itself. H has more hearts and more hitpoints and tighter enrage timers than the lower interceptors while at the same time H is doing more damage.
However, the tactic to kill one it's exactly the same... but grindier... more shots to open the heart, more shots to exert it, you get the point. And the damage dealt by H doesnt matter if one is able to cold orbit and can aim steadily.
So the exactly same tactic that can be used to kill a Cyclops will work on a Hydra, but instead of taking several minutes, it will take an order of magnitude more... that is several tens of minutes
(dont get me wrong, i'm not trying to minimize the skill level required to solo a Hydra, what i'm saying is that i dont find the grind worthy)
