Thargoids planting their own Mycoid strain as revenge attack?

As the title says, I think this is retaliation, They disappeared, made a revenge strain of mycoid and came back to teach us not to delve in something they are masters in without payback.....

Nobody noticed the undercover Thargoid Interceptor masquerading as Rockforth employee contaminating the fertilizer? :p
This is funny. But what about xeno sympathizers? I'm sure they could've had a job in a fertilizer factory. Honestly, it could make for interesting storyline.

If xeno-lovers did that on their own, then we can't really blame the Thargoids for it. And I'm not sure there is any communication going on between humans and Thargoids at the moment. Can we even communicate with each other?

I did read the Elite books like "Out of the Darkness", but I think their status changed from "yes, they're canon" to "actually, no".

If FDev have revoked the canonical status of the lore packs they let the authors have access to in exchange for vast sums of money, around four grand sterling IIRC, when sterling was worth a lot more than it is now, equivalent to nearly six grand in US doll-hairs, it really is an unprecedented male genital move.

I'm not certain on the details, but I think this allowed you to write an Elite book, not that is is necessarily canon.

It was about four to four and a half grand £ Sterling to get a license, with the authors license came access to a lore pack, and the officially sanctioned books were, as part of the purchase price of the license, inherently canon.
