What is with the Feds?

Select Merope to go get the next ship in the cue. Okay - Fleet Engineering is a first world problem.

Launch. Okay let's try out these nifty G5 Dirties! Pips to engines, Pitch Up to 90 degrees ready to jump aaaand >> BOOST!
Woohoo, watching that speedo ticking up like never before into new and uncharted numbers.
Keeping an eye on the heat, hmm not the best, but pretty good.

It's like those people that park in the disabled spots when they pick up their kids.

If you can't see a Faragut, I don't know how to help you, lol. Maybe it's like my car, it's huge, but people seem to keep running into it for some reason.

Don't you also pop open a cold can of beer/soda/yourpreferreddrink, lay back and chill while watching the Farragut perform you a good show of breakdance sometimes? Its one my favs, good pass time to witness before FD cripples it and nerfs the breakdancing ability off it.

the first time i visited Palin i got the Faragut's warning telling me i would be fired upon if i didn't leave (however it was worded) - definitely a brown undies moment, but nothing happened

on every subsequent visit i just keep a flat and low trajectory, i've probably been there 20 times since and never heard it again. but it would be nice if it could rack off somewhere else and do something useful

First encountered it when I DD5'd my Type-9 thrusters.
Guess I came too close because it fired on me. Brought down a whole shield ring before Frame Shift kicked in and I was gone.
Sent a bill to the Federation, now I fly a Corvette.

Did you notice the commanders of that vessel, shirts not buttoned properly, too much hair gel, aviator glasses... hiking socks...

They are a cheesy group. They think they are all operators for some reason, just hanging out there, clipping cigars, showing their veneers.

The human brain have the abilitiy to filter unnecessary stuff. Sometimes it just happens that unnecessary stuff are gorillas, cars, tanks, two kilometer long capital ships that appproaching with high speed... The brain works in mysterious ways [big grin]

Come on, It's as big as an HGV and I doubt that you habitually drive into those things. Just look up before you lift off, you know, like looking behind you when you drive your car away from the kerb. You do look behind you when you do that don't you?

My problem with this over sized road block it is in the way of main flight path for leaving system.
And if you are not careful and are slow at leaving orbit. You can clip defence zone around the ship and get damaged or bounty.

Yesterday I boost slamed in to that damn thing with my dbx on take off, had to land back with 30% hull. My shields saved me
