Sadly my play space limits how far around the bridge I can wander, but what I've seen so far it looks quite nice, especially the sense of scale of those weapons in closeup!
For anyone that's not seen it.... The first 20 seconds or so of this vid give a quick glance around the spectacular bridge...

Seems about the same to me, maybe the odd drop to 45fps, but I mostly put that down to recording with shadowplay.
Although, since you mention a crowded station, it could be network related, you only need one Cmdr to be in your instance with a poor connection to drag everyone's FPS down.

yep, liking the new VR experience with the Krait, well done FD.
I've noticed a dip in frames, I'm not sure if it's the Krait, will need more testing, but i've definitely noticed everything is a little jerkier than it was, i even checked my settings to see if it had changed somehow, but all remained the same.
Edit: Will give Solo a go!

Agreed. I've only used rails in the med spot so far but they put on a show. It's pretty great. I need to get some multis or missiles under there. Added bonus to a solid performing ship IMO. I'm a fan
How high up does the cockpit appear. If you stood up at your chair would it hit your head?
In the interests of Science, I have conducted the following experiment - it’s quite a tall cockpit, I’m 5’9” and if I stand on my seat I can just about touch the deckhead with my invisible outstretched arm. Thankfully I do not use a swivel chair.
This has been a thing for a very long time but people keep insisting that the CPU doesn't matter..
Just has a go in the krait and oh my lawd it is a thing of beauty. I will be my go to ship everytime from now on.

The games fps has always suffered heavily when in busy instances.
This is regardless of settings and as true for my old rig as my new.

And busy instance mean "two players or more".
Massive sounds about right, have you had a look at Class 2 multi cannons in VR? I've been up close to a GAU-8 Avenger, it looks like a toy compared to a class 2 MC. Even the small weapons in this game are beasts.
Sure they are not small, but in this game, and I'm being purely semantic here, when compared to the class 4 guns, class 2's aren't quite massive.
Currently rocking fixed beams on all hardpoints on mine, but I'm tempted to either go multi's on the class 2 for fun, or even more fun, pop in the packhounds
My, and i assume everyone else's Krait Cockpit, is not finished. I mean come on DeLacy, 40+ mill for this ship and you are using Electrical tape to secure wires to baulkheads? Cable laying all over the floor?? (No H&S in 3302 or what ever date it is? Tripping Hazard??), i have a red cable coming out of the right floor grill?? Red is Live, so lordy Lordy a live cable open ended on the floor?? You trying to kill me DeLacy, i mean as if there aren't enough griefers in the universe to do that, i have you trying to Electrocute me.
Can i bring it back to a DeLacy service centre to be finished off please, with a complimentary Wax and Polish for my trouble??
