After just watching the South American DLC trailer, i remembered that "oh, that's right, there was a melanistic tiger in one of the "The making of planet zoo" videos.I went back and at 4.15 in "The making of planet zoo | Ways to play", there is a very nice shot of the melansitic tiger, almost facing the exact same way as a regular tiger. Now, when do we get to have more "genes" than leucism? It is greatly missed!

My guess would be: I think it's a combination of POV/direction sunlight - which means you are looking at the shade side of this tiger.
That would make a lot of sense
Maybe it's a Combination of this and wet Fur
