This year we're headed to Cyrodiil, on the border with Black Marsh. Also the Deadlands.

Yes, it's a nostalgia-fest. This year is the 15th anniversary of TES4 Oblivion.

Looks pretty cool. Also, PvP in ESO is in a test phase for the next three weeks. Proc-sets do not work in the Alliance War zone. Pure stars, and honestly much more fun.

(Many "good" players are screaming because they keep dying in PvP now LOL)

Last year i got into eso properly. 1 character, cp 440ish, a starter set of yellow gear self crafted. Enough cosmetics and mounts (thankfully they're so good you don't need many). Just playing for all the quests in the game, no multiplayer.

Ive only recently bought up all the expansions to greymoor, and enough crowns to get all the story dlc's im still missing.

So for blackwood, i'm going lockdown. No more content purchases until i catch up. So happy to arrive at this stable place.. it took a year to get here.. catching up on all the content is fierce if you just jump in now.

The companion system looks pretty good though... except that im so op that it would be pointless unless they make one that looks good... yeah not up to soloing group dungeons or arenas for a long while.

But anyway.. just onto summerset now. Still have clockwork city, elseweyr, dragonhold, greymoor, markarth, all of covenant and pact and dark brotherhood to do... lucky i love the damn game :)

What server do you play on?

That's okay.. i play solo anyway. As soon you end up playing with others a nice neat hour of play turns into 3 or more.

Could use a trading guild though.. gotten so used to it i don't even flinch when destroying yellow writs anymore.

So the warmup dungeon dlc launched today.

Im really dreading the forced respec on my main. That deer pet is no way good enough compensation.

There should be a flag for single players, tick here for op, don't care, wont even notice, i'll just keep my rotation, no change, thanks.

There was more to it than that. Turns out a lot of characters had more skill points then they should.

The respec was nothing to do with offering free services, it was to fix a serious bug that came to light a few months ago.

All i see.

I'm not even playing the new content, and its been a pretty good patch so far. Teleport outside of house! Amazing. The inventory ui works again too! Such joy from a bug fix.

For a single player as well, i don't mind the new champion system. I think they would have cut out many % of negative feedback if they didn't push the instant harvesting perk far up the tree. That's the only thing i noticed.. the rest all seemed like a generous buff.. finally i had a use for the tanking and magicka systems on my dps stam warden..

Also.. loading screens.... go zos!!! theyre quicker.

There is one sad... the loading screen music didn't do anything to not press mute or hate the game for the first 2 mins every time you load up. Why!!!! /cry

Dumb a fix as it sounds, I just turn down the master volume before logging out.

Yeah really loving patch 29 as a single player. You can count the new features on one hand, but they make such a difference.

How good are the short loading screens? I find myself playing more because loading is quick. Its such a joy. Same as when swtor managed to do it as well.

Yeah i either alt tab or just press mute.

See at this point i would buy arx to say thanks for a great patch, but given how overbearingly exploitative the crown store is, ill just wait. You have to balance the positives and negatives out. And its not like i'm going to ever see the insides of a dungeon dlc, so no.

I mean the Crown Store is easily ignored.

Honestly it targets people with Magpie Syndrome.

But yeah I am liking the new CP.

Also, fun fact. The other day I bumped into @Latent Buzzard right outside the tutorial dungeon. Small world!

It's just fortunate that you have such a distinctive name as it only flashed up on my screen for a second initially. Personally I think Update 29 has killed the game for me as the only benefit I've gotten out of it is that I don't have to slot rapids anymore to receive major gallop. Loading screens still take just as long and the new CP system is a mess that doesn't really give me anything new but does require a lot more points to get me there. On PC EU I had just reached 810 CP prior to update 29, having come over from XB where I was sitting at a bit over 1200 CP, so I was happy to have gotten one grind out of the way. The CP target has now risen to 1800 CP and I just don't think I can stand to grind up to that level after all the grinding that I've already done. As it stands my ESO+ subscription is paid for up until August so it would feel like wasted money if I stopped playing right now but I can't see me continuing beyond August as a result of the changes made in Update 29.
