That was very very cool.

Just had perhaps the best game so far.

Took my Anaconda off to Freeport to buy a bigger gun.

1st interdiction from a cobra. Took it down to about 50% hull before it turned tail and vanished in to the Frame.

2nd interdiction 4 cobras.

Sent 1 packing. Killed number 2. Mean while the others took mt engines to 0. Life support to 60 :( and power distribution to 60 and a few other dents.

Supercruised at a snail pace to safety the hyperspaced to Aulin. ;)

Limped back to Aulin Enterprise in supercruise.

Made good use of flight assist to keep my speed at almost 20 to get me back to the Station.

Docking was a nightmare at about speed 8 with no manuerability in the hulking lame Anaconda. Managed to get through the docking hatch and became wanted for air lock violation.

Landing was a dogs dinner of a meal. Yaw was almost impossible and I was getting dragged one way and another by unknown forces and getting stuck on buildings. :S

Landed with 2 seconds to spare! :D

A quick pop to the shops turned in to an almost 2 hour fight for life. :D

Now that was fun.

Just thought I'd share it.

Really wish we could do some kind of repairs to engines in space. The auto field maintance module was no better than a roll of sticky tape. Fortunately fo r me they couldnt target landing gear... which would be a touch Dangerous

I think that deserves a nice cup of tea and a slice of Battenburg.

I've just been practicing docking and landing with no engines. It's tricky old chap!

Time for tea :D note quite 4pm but I've been a good solider today. And in future I must remember to buy a working AFM. Mine did nothing in any of teh modes, off, on, repair etc. Ticket raised

nice tale, i'm looking forward to such dangerous encounters, sounds like a self made episode of nice sci fi.

i guess whenever you will be able to go outside of your craft, you will be able to do repairs on it, to bring it from 0% to at least in the range of having the repair modules take action, would be nice. :)
