That's a lot of Panther Clippers!

Something tells me, either the math is off, or FD made a lot of money in Panther Clipper sales.

It's much much more Panthers doing what they were purchased for, building worlds elsewhere.

I own three on two accounts. For both accounts I took a Mandalay with 1 tone of Steel, went there, finished the one fine set for each in 5 minutes, and went back to claiming systems. So you don't see my three there, and I can bet most Panther owners did the same.

Anyways, bravo FD, keep working on this game!

Yup I've been seeing comparable traffic stats in CG systems since PC2 release. The PC2 traffic is roughly 3X the combined T9/Cutter traffic.

Here was the end of the PC2 CG:

You bought 3 Panther Clippers for ARX? That's a lot.

I bought one Panther with Arx (the pre-build, Stellar one) and another standard one in-game with credits.
I will probably eventually buy at least another standard one for Arx on one of my other CMDR accounts, then again I may be so busy with this one that it goes on general in-game credits sale before I manage it!

With the CG going on, the figure would probably be a lot higher if that were the case.
That is how the counter normally works, a ship passing through the system ups the count by 1 - if it never leaves (so is offloading a FC then departing on the FC - it doesn't get counted. (same as when I'm playing the CZ game, arrive & depart from FC, no ships passed through the system, so FDL count=0 despite me being active!)

12 of those PC II's were my one, delivering to the CG and leaving the system. It is still a lot of Panther Kittens though!

Those were the most dramatic 2 hours in Frontier Development head office ever.
The anxiety was palpable.
I was miffed because the P Kitten didn't haul enough to satisfy my desire to make larceny easier, I admit. So denied the plausibility of my purchasing it for real money.

I'd saved (real saving, not an inflated price reduced) 50% on my next holiday so had a penny or two more than I thought I might, considered the fun in flying new ships, and my good fortune with said excursion into the wilds of Wales, so determined that just flying it may be fun, and carrying 1120t over 720t might speed up the relocation of valuable commodities as I was cogitating whilst watching barkers wander aimlessly between clumps of dry grass, thus concluding that I could buy a new ship instead of half a pizza...
