Vote above? How often have you escaped with just 1% hull strength? And by escaping I mean savely docking at a station without self-destruction due to destroyed FSD. And no, 2% don't count either and NO. If you failed to dock safely and were destroyed by the slight touch you didn't escape!

So. How often did you make it?

Once, when in an icourier and getting rammed from a clipper scanning me. So it wasn't as dangerous AFTER the damage as low/high waking for your life and surviving with 1%, but it did cause an "HOLY WTFAFDSFS...!" moment.

Good grief, Charlie Brown.. Dozens. Heck even dozens when my canopy was out too..

finally a poll, which i can't see! can we have more of those?

two times. second time was yesterday in my bountyhunting eagle. 1% hull, canopy blown... a second of distraction shooting that asp ... yeah, it had railguns. but i made it back!

Once, in a Viper I think.. finished off a NPC Python with an un-intentional ram, hull 1% and canopy breached.. still, got his bounty :)

Once, I was boosting/shoosting after a bounty near an outpost in a DBS and forgot about the 'no fire zone'. I somehow escaped w/ 1%.

Twice - A week ago on a Canyon run in a Imperial Eagle, have no idea how I didn't die.. Limped back to the station. First time was in a Viper in a conflict zone, a cmdr in a imperial Clipper was kicking my rear, managed to low wake with 1% hull and no canopy.. No frikin idea how I got out of that one.

Only one time with an armored FAS; it was exhilarating.

Snap. Obviously I had a shield on this but from memory every other slot was filled with hull reinforcements. FAS is the only thing I'd dare let get so low on hull before bugging out, thought it was particularly funny that my cockpit was still in tip top condition which I think is why I bothered screening it.

Once, in a Type-9. I was hauling for a CG and noticed hollow rectangles creeping up on me. So I emergency dropped, turned everything off and went silent, drifting away at speed. I thought I was so clever, and was pleasantly surprised that it worked.

As I prepared to power stuff back on, BAM!!! NPC spawns right in front of me. "I will end you!". How in the world did he find me when I was stone cold? I scrambled to turn everything back on, but there were reboot timers and I kept fumbling in the menu in my panic, turning the same module on and off again. Next thought was: screw immersion, this doesn't make any sense anyway, who programmed these NPC spawns, let's combat log. I wasted a couple of seconds in that timer too, because I changed my mind seeing as it was slow as hell. Finally I decided to try low-waking.

Didn't think I was going to make it, but I did, with 1% hull. Next up was the blockade. I was sure I was going to die there instead, but fortunately for me, I must have been placed in a different instance or something, since I didn't encounter anyone on my way to the station. It was one of the more satisfying moments in E : D when that Type-9 thumped on the landing pad.

1%? Haven't managed to get my ships to that state yet (excluding, naturally, anything that has gone below 1% ... a few taxiwinders and such). I run out of ammo for kinetics/plasmas way before hull is about to give up.

Once, months ago, but the paint on my FDL still looked shiny new. I was hoping to have some scratches to display.

Yeah shame, numerous times I've stopped outside the station and used the external camera to take some battered ship damage photos, I would of expected at least the cockpit to be a right mess, but no, shiny and new looking. :)
