Was chatting to a fellow explorer in team speak the other day and he asked what I thought was an interesting question.
"Is there anywhere in the galaxy that is more than 1000LY away from a place that's already been discovered?"
Now of course there is no way of telling, and on my recent trip I did some 6,200 systems where no one had been. But I had no idea if the system next door had been discovered or not.
I'd like to think there is, but 1000LY is a long radius for something to remain unexplored
