The 5 Deaths and Isla Nublar

Hello everyone! I'm new here just to let you all know:D. I've always been a fan of Jurassic Park ever since I was small. I want to talk about the islands and how they will look in JWE. Anyways, in the trailers we've seen Isla Matanceros and how it will appear in the game. As we all remember from JP 2 and JP 3 there were redwood forests, jungles, and other biomes on Isla Sorna. I heard from a 4chan post that we will get better terraforming tools than JPOG's. I'm wondering if the devs will try to follow the different biomes from Isla Sorna from the movies the best they can or if they will let us customize the different islands how we want. Thoughts?

Hey there! This is something I'm wondering as well. Like you said, we saw a few different biomes in the Jurassic Park movies. It will definitely be cool to see how they portray the different islands. We've never seen any other islands besides Sorna and Nublar in the movies, so really they can do what they want with the rest of them when it comes to how heavy the storms will be, landscape, and things like that. We've seen Sorna before and how the different parts of the islands look. With Pena being the smallest, I wonder if it will be a harsher climate due to tropical storms and things like that. I'm also wondering if you can choose your own island from the get go or they'll give us an island to start with and it will get increasingly difficult. With the devs not saying anything about Nublar yet I'm wondering how it will tie into JW: Fallen Kingdom. Terraforming like you said, will be better than JPOG's. I'm wonder how different you can make an island look from it's original state. I hear we'll be able to make cliffs with the terraforming tools which will be awesome!

Since they are Islands I imagine they will all look the same. Since they are in a chain they would share the same kind of plants, trees and general vegetation. They will also most likely share the same kind of environment. Meaning they will probably look the same. But maybe they can change things up a bit to make things interesting. We have only seen Sorna and Nublar in the films and books. They are fictional islands and the devs can do whatever they want with them, within reason of course.

I am interested in the terrain tools cause that means we can make our islands look really nice. Part of running a theme park is trying to make things look nice for guests. So I am sure that will play apart in the game.

In The Lost World: Jurassic Park they filmed in Kauai, Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park, Patrick's Point State Park, and Eureka. In Jurassic Park 3 they filmed in Hawaii as well. I have no doubt that most of it will look tropical. It's the places like the redwood forests that I'm wondering if they'll have in the game. I don't know how closely they're following the films.

Hopefully some of the islands are varied. Maybe it will be a choice. JPOG had an island generator. It was pretty lacking though. Maybe we will be able to generate different environments. I also believe we should have different choices in trees we can use. Of course there will be other issues with that.
