There are several suggestions that are closely related to this already out there, but didn't see this one specifically, so I'll toss it out there anyway:
When running a 2 or 3 stop bulk trade route where you typically go back and forth between the same systems 50 times in a row, selecting navigation targets gets very repetitive and tedious after a while.
The Rolls Royce here would be the ability to save a trade route in the ships nav system, so that every time I launch from a station, the opposite/next system is automatically selected. This would be good in terms of immerion too - they would have a lot stronger support tools in their nav systems if we indeed were to end up with spaceships and populating the galaxy before we die out here on earth
A second best option would be the ability to save a few favourite systems that works as a short list when setting nav targets (already suggested).
