The Adder and the Canyon

Returning Bubblewards with significant amounts of Exploration Scans from the darkness rimwards of the bubble... I came across a ball of rock orbiting a failed star... where I found this canyon. While some might say that canyon running in an unshielded ship with underpowered thrusters on the way home with data is "bad".. but this one was irresistible.

It was quite creepy on the bottom of it all... still, I got away without losing any more hull. Ship still holding together pretty well, with the help of duct tape...

Nice pics - one of the things I like most about the Adder is the fact that it looks like something our Space Shuttles could have become, had we not abandoned them. That nostalgia is difficult to shake, to be honest.

Also, congrats for taking a road less travelled - if I do end up taking an extended voyage, it will likely be either in my Vulture, or my Adder.
