Take a look at this, you'll have to dodge about a bit to find the parts witht her avatar in:
This is real-time motion-capture being real-time rendered in a 3d word. Her body position and movements are reproduced in the avatar.
Now imagine flying to an advertised point of interest. You and half a dozen commanders in the same instance land.
Now it would be possible, but probably a whole lot of expensive effort, to render the performance in the game. So instead let's say you then go to a YouTube/Twitch stream. There you can see the performance happening at the same place that you are currently looking at in game. And maybe the camera sweeps over the audience and Frontier include every spaceship that is present at that POI in all instances with their names labeled.
