Engineers The amount of materials for engineers has changed since April update?

Hello!
Since few days I'm doing some engineer work on my new ship. I noticed that engineers need different amount of materials now. Recently I've been in Liz Ryder, Hera Tani and Broo Tarquin workshops.
I wonder if you have the same situation.
I think that change is good, more balanced.
For example:
Before the April update: Grade 1 usually required 1 pc of materials. I mean '1 click' and grade 1 is ready. Sometimes '2 clicks'. Grade 4 sometimes needed 8, 9 or even 10 pcs of materials.

After the April update: Grade 1 requires now 4, 5 or even 6 pcs of grade 1 materials. And G4 need 7 or 8 pcs.

IMHO, balance is better now.

I don't see that at all - G1 is nearly always 1 click.

Have you been unlocking new engineers? Until you G5 the Engineer they will need more mats for upgrades (same as ever).

Oh, yes... All three mentioned engineers was new for me and I recently unlocked them.
