The Art of Warfare
The Art of Warfare (TAW) was formed in 2001 with a humble beginning consisting of only a few members. From there TAW has grown into an organization unlike very few other. TAW is made out of gamers from all over the globe who come together with the common vision of honour, integrity and fair play, but while TAW itself adapts to the ever-changing gaming landscape it builds a solid foundation in its Code of Ethics.
The Art of Warfare is a home for those tired of compromise. This is an organization of loyal and dedicated members that hold each other to the highest standards. Surround yourself with people that think first of the greater good and understand the meaning of teamwork. Join a gaming community of like-minded gamers, but find a family.
If you want to put your time and energy into another small, unreliable "clan" that will be gone in a couple months, then TAW is NOT for you. However, if you are up to the challenge of taking part in a real online community of dedicated gamers that have bonded together with a common purpose of more organized, fun, and better gaming, all while kicking everyone else's "rear-end" on the field, then this is the place for you.

What do TAW have to offer?
In TAW we offer a fun, established and structured gaming environment for all our members. All our game divisions hold regular practices or events twice a week. Our field leaders work hard to prepare exciting tournaments, competitions, and events, so rest assured that your fellow members will show up! Many of our FPS divisions also compete in external competitions/ladders and our MMO units have consistently performed extremely well on their servers. In addition, the training staff of your division constantly works on new ways to help you improve your gameplay.

TAW is not like other gaming clans. In fact, we consider ourselves a gaming community. The difference is the commitment our members and leaders make to TAW. Many of our members join TAW and stay for years when they realize they cannot find consistently competitive, fun games every week in any other group. In many cases, as support for games dwindles, TAW continues to be strong month after month, year after year.

What do the TAW Elite: Dangerous division offer?
In contrast to TAW itself the Elite: Dangerous division of TAW is fresh. Having just being started we are looking for dedicated, skilled, active and kind members to form a completely new set of fused-together gamers organized in the division Elite: Dangerous division.
Our events will vary, adapt and new ones will be added, but for now, we are looking at testing out things like group mining (consisting of miners, “soldiers” and haulers), convoy trading (to fend off those pesky pirates), pulling military event conflicts in our favour (supporting the side that benefits us the most)
Our goal is to support the community, to help polish the game, to earn those juicy space credits and to have fun. Along the way, we are going to work hard, make mistakes and learn from them, but progressively we are going to see improvements, win honour and, most importantly, have fun.
TAW’s Elite: Dangerous division is one of the first established gaming communities, or clans, to embrace Elite: Dangerous and we hope that you see as much potential in this game and community as we do.

Requirements
  • To join TAW we see that you fulfill these points:
  • You need to have Beta access to Elite: Dangerous (if you only have access to the game in full release we encourage you to apply when that comes out or upgrade to the Beta release)
  • You should be above the age of 15, although (as youth at this age differ in maturity) you can request a “screening” (a conversation or evaluation with/of you and see if we find you mature enough)
  • A working microphone

  • A mature, respectful attitude
