My Son is very inspired by Elite, it's his first 'space-sim'. Although he can't play i properly, (joysticks too big for little hands) he can at least manoeuvre a sidewinder out of dock during training.
So In lego, we've built a sidewinder, cobra and anaconda.
He sort of understands the ships have different sizes/weapons class and capabilities.
So now he's splicing the ship stats together to build the perfect ship,
cobra-Viper
Viper-conda.
But my I almost sprayed the down the kitchen table with a mouthful of Tea,
when he was bugging me at breakfast about taking a looking at his Asp-viper.
Bearing in mind kids pronunciation is not really 100% accurate and they may tend to round to sounds that are easy to say....like dropping the P in asp.
