The battle of Nanomam, PvP battle (Empire vs Federation video)

Classified information has been leaked that a number of empire groups invaded Nanomam this weekend, their goal to attack and destroy federation vessels
-
After the attack began, information was leaked onto the Galnet site Reddit and a Federation response force headed to the system
-
Dash cam footage was obtained by Federal agents from the view of some of the Empire aligned ships
-
No word as to whether the Emperor himself gave the orders or if a number of secret groups were responsible, this is the footage recovered:

"The feds are so weak, not funny anymore." Well, the strong feds are waiting in the imperial HQs and farm players so they can not support their systems. :p
Imperials always run :O

But yes, I agree with the statements "shield and shield cellbanks". However, it is the current meta as we have no option to repair hull while in a fight or that hull would actually be better than a shield.

If they are, they were not doing it in my home system, I regularly hang around there and I've only ever met one federation ship attacking there since the start of PP

Ground-dwellers on the nearby planet would be thinking again about finishing that bunker they started digging last Spring.

Shields, shields, shields... Where is skill? Where is danger?
It would be much more interesting if all these players were flying Eagles, Vipers and Cobras...

Perhaps, if you can convince them to fight us like that, that would be good
-
Besides I assume your referring to our opponents mostly as I was using speed to outmanoeuvre them and fought half the battle with no shields

Nice fight, shame is lasted so long due to the Shield Banks, why they couldn't just leave it to the skill of the pilot moving pips around, now its just who has the most SBC....

)) No, I was reffering all of you! You fogot the taste of fighting in small ships! Try to ram opponet with unshielded Egle! ))

You know, while I suspect that CQC is going to address this to some extent, this is what's missing from the game; grubby, vicious little furballs.

Don't suppose there's a PvP version of Mobius for this type of PvP is there?

EDIT:

Oh, and this;
And without Shield Cell Banks.

I forgot to say: the part without shields was the most interesting! But... even unshielded you have the feeling "I can escape when I need"...

I think the best shield managment was in famouse SW TIE Fighter series. FD took pips from there, but they forgot forward-rear shield switching and ability to transfer power from weapons to shield and vice versa. I think this is the best opportunity to SCBs!
Whant to emergency shield recharge? Transfer energy from weapons. Want extra power for final shot? Lower your shields. Balance? I think so )

Odd how the Enemy fleet consisted of seemingly Imperial ships
ADL pledged Cmdr and Prismatic Shields

They only had one CMDR with the Empire I think and the rest were No faction with a couple of Winters and Hudson people thrown in, there was also another wing of Federal ships as well as our other wing
-
There is more to come, 1 more part from me and another part from a member of the other wing that formed for the Empire

We had a sidewinders/Eagles wing in Nanomam as well. It was fun :).

You were the guys in the other Empire wing right? After I had to go?

I enjoyed the videos, especially the use of the advanced PA, however, the title 'Large PVP Battle' seems like ironic humour.
These are single wing fights, the kind my faction frequently have because instancing problems prevent anything more interesting from happening. Even with this sort of combat with just a few players, you're not guaranteed to meet your enemy without reloading the game, disbanding the wing etc etc etc.
I've grown tired of trying to arrange big battles now, after I managed to get 20 Aisling Duval players to 34 Pegasi at the same time, only to be met the usual instancing stuff. And that's just the big stuff, even the one wing stuff is flawed a lot of the time. We have been reduced to friending our enemies just so we know they are in the same system at times, then co-operating to get to see each other.
They need better servers or sadly, Big PVP will remain as it is: small

Well, that was a disappointment. Shield cells prolonging the fight into infinity and beyond. Ramming over and over again. Yawnsville. I thought PvP was meant to be exciting!

The only thing i got from this video is that 4 pips to Sys must be worth it, because i've had 2 pips in a clipper and rammed a python like that and lost at least 2 rings (A7 shields with boosters!). Ill definitely be paying more attention to pips in collision situations in future.
