...finally take out that darn rubber nubbin that creates the detents in the throttle. I cannot express how much better this makes pretty much everything. Took 10 minutes and never felt in danger of breaking anything (provided you have the right tip on your screwdriver). Be warned, doing this will invalidate your warantee.

I've also done this. Feels much nicer with the detent removed. Never looked back.

I use the 25% detent inside stations and 75% in SC when close to target so i don't overshoot.

Yeah, I did this a while ago and it does make a big difference.

Just wish there was a 50% indent

Yep, did the same to mine about 10 minutes after I unpacked it, and never looked back. I've wtill got the little doo-hicky in a little plastic bag should I ever decide to put it back but it's unlikely ever happen.
