The Birth and Death of Stars

I just saw this lecture by Walter Lewin and thought some of you explorers here in this forum might be interested in this stuff so I'd like to share it.
At first I wouldn't have thought to watch the whole thing but I did. :D
It's about white dwarfs, neutron stars, black holes and later binary systems (with black holes in them).

Well, nothing I didn't already know, and I don't like his apparent presumption that his audience is incompetent and/or ignorant regarding the subject matter. However, it was still overall enjoyable to watch as it gave me a fresh perspective and helped me to take another step in identifying evidence for a theory that I've been working on for the last 15 years or so.

So, cheers for that.

Speaking of white dwarfs, neutron stars, and black holes...

Glad you liked it guys. :)

That's a nice system you found there Wr3nd. What theory are you working on?

It's rather complicated and I don't want to reveal too much since it's a work in progress, but basically it has to do with potential correlations between gravity, "dark energy," space-time, matter, and the speed of light.
