General / Off-Topic The Book of Boba Fett

I liked it, I felt that they "nerfed" him a little maybe its the effects of the sarlacc pit though
really looking forward to seeing where it goes

would love to have a series on Solo

Eh, too many Mandalorians. It was OK, but would've been good to see something else.
I like that we see him from where the last true SW ended, also he is not an Mandalorian just use the same armor :)

Rumors goes he will appear in either mando or book of boba as a quest, like Luke did.

Not the bounty hunter I'm looking for.
3/10
Too goofy, too soft, being turned into "sensitive" person, wouldn't be surprised if they destroy him further...
Series is for kids, no violent deaths in the Boba style (disintegrations)... This constant dying of Star Wars is fun to watch tho'.
I feel sorry for my investment in several 6" Hasbro Boba Fett figs.

Oh, and here's our mysterious childhood hero being a bada.. ss in his underwear.

Liked the first episode, bored during the second, considering cancelling my subscription after the third 🤷‍♀️ .

Sarlacc seemed glossed over.

I enjoyed it.

My expectation of the SW are pretty low so this is a welcome change (so far).

I've never been interested in the existing EU lore so it's good to see the sand people get a bit of background and development rather than just being the people anakin murdered.

Started out OK and went south very quickly. Tonally all over the place, misjudges the character and setting.

Mando did it better, far, far better.
yep 100% this, the Quadrophenia gang is an awful addition and that chase scene was so cliche I was expecting 2 workers to come out with a pane of glass to smash through

it also feels a bit cheap? that fight with Krrsantan and the bell boys was very static

I also still think bobba has been nerfed to much irrelevant of current injuries from the sarlacc pit or his reliance on his gear

the only thing keeping me interested is the setting & ships which for me is still very much the stars of the show, that and the hope of more tuscan action

I know people say "but we had the colour from the original trilogy" but I'd say back- on Tatooine? In a grimy hell where everything else is muted?

I could have walked faster than the chase. It felt like

S01E03
Danny Trejo (y), Krss is too nerfed (n), the rest, plot and everyone else... cheap 💩
We're 3 episodes in and great Boba is still a pencil pusher. That must be the idea of KKennedy.

I've quite liked it so far. I liked that episode 2 added depth to the culture of the sand people making them more than just scavengers but people trying to protect their lands. The biker gang in ep 3 was a bit "we have to sell this to generation TikTok who didn't grow up on this" and instantly forgettable.

I see this as a PG version of the Godfather set in the Star Wars universe: Boba Fett isn't going to be doing the dirty work but will get others to do it for him unless he is needed. But then I could find positives in the Phantom Menace (but not the sequel trilogy, I can't work miracles ;))

EP 5 kicked bum. However, I don't really understand BOBF tonally. You have a really feeble Fett in BOBF all Disney kids friendly while Mando is cleaving people in two in the same show.

I still say Mando is what BOBF should have been. Disney seem to be struggling with Fett and what they want him to be.

yep, me n my mates have been saying the same thing, problem is Mando does it so good they had nowhere else to go with Boba
there's such little info on him they should have done a prequal series leading up to the Boba from the OTs
could have been done in such a way that it would have complimented Mando rather than copy it

Quite frankly EP 5 makes me want to watch Mando and speed up BOBF so its out of the way.
