Or simply give it to someone who knows how to write. But my guess is Disney don't want a 'bad' Fett because they want to make more money selling his toys.

which is crazy considering the buyers of said toys will be full grown adults!
Same person that writes Mando writes Boba. I think he may be biting off too much. Then again, Boba just fully recovered in the Bacta tank, maybe he will start taking names again.
Then in that case it seems all the Fett ideas and tone went into Mando and Fett is left with nothing.
You do see Fetts nasty side but its not done enough- ironically Fett in Mandolorian was a one man army while in BOBF (although he is weakened) seems to be much more mild.

That's explained by his change of heart from his time with the Sandmen. He realises that he needs a tribe.
maybe but i dont buy that as an excuse, he was part of the bounty hunter guild we see so much of in the mandalorian, there was plenty of tribe vibes going on if he wanted it
it says something when the 2 best episodes to date could come straight out of the Mandalorian and has very little of BoBF
