I hope, that in next update they fix this NPCs - will "look" at what ship you have and what combat rank you have, since killing 20 times one Shieldless "Pirate" with Anaconda or FDL is totally not fun..

Yea, you sometimes encounter NPCs like Pythons or Clippers who may have a chance against you in your Python. Then you encounter the ridiculous lunatics of sidewinders, Eagles and Vultures that send messages like stated in the OP.

But because they are NPCs they don't fear anything and behave like that as well.

I had an NPC showing bravery even after death (5 good seconds after going boom).

OK. Probably more lag than bravery, but still.

I got dicted by a shieldless (later this changed) Cobra the other day. In my Python. I mean I can kill Cobras faster than the scan finishes - what's that 10s, right? OK, trading setup, but I left the weapons on.
First line from me: really?

At least we chatted a bit. I offered him some cargo if he can take down my (paper) shields, figured he's poor or something. He couldn't and he wasn't

But at least he tried, little fun, no harm done.
