Community Event / Creation The bridge of the ship at home

In many communities, there is a custom games there is a tradition - to share photo of workplace.
I start from the my workplace - here is my bridge, my cockpit, where I create all the translations of news on the Russian language, voicing videos developers and create subtitles.

Maybe someone else wants to share the photo of your seat? do not be shy!

I cant believe how tidy your workspace is.

Thank you!
I thought a lot about the organization of the workplace, and in the end decided to delete all the wires under the table so they could not see, and gave up the cluster of papers on the table - much more convenient to store short notes on the computer - in text files or in the cloud, on the Internet.

I've only made minor changes from this photo, I now have a third PC under the desk, just a little twin cpu workstation running XP to act as a WAMP server and to play games that wont run on Win 7/8

I've also gone wireless for the mouse/keyboard.

instead of putting all the cables under the table and getting them tangled around my feet I've gone the other route and all my cables are on top - it looks messy but it's practical as it saves me crawling under the desk if i need to plug something else in

Be good if sci-fi's were honest about the way most people keep their bridge/desk be amusing if Kirk had to find the phasor button located below sulu's ashtray a couple of bowls empty crisp packets and various bits of paper with random stuff written on them that were only relevant 2 months ago......

ok that pretty much describes the state of my bridge at the mo :D

P.S. Hood was from my jacket ;)

Your wife looks after you...even if cutting your clothes up! nice job done.

Shame though, had this image of an iron ass hardened space pirate DobrijZmej chewing on raw veg while blasting at his enemies in space :D

Well, yes...
Yesterday we welcomed visitors, grilled kebabs and drinking beer... Today, with my wife going to smoke a couple of small cigars with coffee...
We have a tree, walnut, under it there is a swing. In the evening, very comfortable to sit a few minutes on the swing with my wife, have a cup of coffee and a cigar... However, we currently do not allow smoking too often... One time in a few months.

A rather unusual (for me) the color of the walls. Too dark blue.
And the pictures on the wall are paintings of your children?

I just use a laptop on my bed, with a separate laptop for programming (because this one is Windows 8). I have no money for anything.

Drews desk looks like it has never seen a bowl/ashtray/empty crisp packet in its life my desk has never been that clean even the day i assembled it :D

I don't think its his real desk. I think he was being dragged round Ikea and saw this in the home office section. His real work area probably has chains and soot on the walls :p
