It's time to celebrate, and I'm taking it super literally. So what better system to celebrate a Ruby Anniversary than 40 Leonis (see what I did there?).
Our race starts and finishes at Goeschek Horizons in 40 Leonis.
Your mission is to buy some gifts, name the event, and secure your invite to the super secret after party with expert manoeuvrability and pizazz.
Name the Event
If British science fiction has taught us anything this year, to call something Ruby you must point at a sign with no witnesses in the vague hope 20 years later someone will happen to look at grainy CCTV footage and realise that was what you meant by it.There are no nearby stations called Ruby and visiting one station to point at a sign would be a pretty silly thing. So we're pointing at FOUR!

Each time you land, get out of your ship and point (ie use the point emote - worth binding a key to it) at the nearest R, U, B and Y on signage you can see, before heading to the next station.

At any station you visit with a commodity market that isn't Goeshek Horizons, buy 8 tons of any item to sell when you return.Secure Your Invite
Head to system BD+26 2184 and the installation Hidden Field Hacienda.This will be very familiar to those of you that completed the Crop Circles bonus in the race Double Trouble that Raiko hosted as part of the previous championship, but this time it's mandatory! I've even borrowed their guide! Fly through the tunnel, and loop through the two rotating rings opposite the tunnel.

- Hidden Field Hacienda in BD+26 2184, go through the tunnel and loop the rings. (This can be done before or after the naming ceremony)
- In Order: (point at the signs and at one of the stations with a commodity market buy 8 tons of anything to bring to the party.)

Bonuses
- Shieldless Shenanigans
- 30 seconds deducted from your time for flying without shields (powered off on the Regulation Cobra). Also no repairs for the run.
- Another 30 seconds deducted for finishing your run with more than 95% hull or less than 10% hull.
- Speedy Tunnel Nonsense
- Whatever your top speed is as you are in the tunnel at Hidden Field Hacienda, we will divide by ten and remove those seconds from your end time. Those circular platforms have some spikes, so be mindful - especially if you're also going for the shieldless bonus!
Rules
- No docking computer or a supercruise assist module fitted to your ship.
- No supercharging your FSD before the race.
- No supercharging from White Dwarves or Neutron Stars to boost for your run (I'm not super sure it applies here but I'm ruling it out all the same)
- No using Fleet Carriers for any part of your run.
- No Fuel injections.
- You are free to start with as much or as little fuel on board as you want.
Race classes
There are two classes you can enter for this race, the regulation Cobra class and the unlimited ship class. The regulation Cobra class is the standard unengineered build that's being used throughout all of our championship races. You can find the build linked here:Regulation Cobra build
In the unlimited ship class you can use any ship you like with any amount of engineering, although keep in mind what's not allowed above.

7-10. Pointing at the sign in all four RUBY ports
11-14. Inside the tunnel at Hidden Field Hacienda and one going through each of the rings (2 shots for the one you went through twice)
15. Landed back at Goeshek Horizons immediately after the station services menu has started to appear (this is your end time).
16. Selling your 8 tons to the market at Goeshek Horizons.
Alternatively, a timestamped video would also work. I can't stress enough that a timestamped video will also work.
The race will run from 12:00 UTC on Friday 20th September until 12:00 UTC on Monday 29th September.
