Well, I made it out to Sag A yesterday. I was slightly surprised to find no one else was there (I dropped into Open).

I had originally intended to swing around it and then head back to the bubble for a bit, but I'm tempted to do a repair/restock run back to Jaques and then head on out to the rim.

I've seen the sky on fire with stars, but the dark is calling me.

Oh to be an explorer.

Thanks for the reminder. Name added.

Colonia (via the pretty route) then out to the rim. Beagle Point doesn't appeal just yet, but I'm sure I'll head out that way sooner or later.

Congratulations!

In the core, you may want to go 1000-2000 ly below/above the galactic plane, it is littered with giants and non sequence stars. :)

That was essentially how I got there - flew under the plane, then jonked up for the last few hundred light years.

Think I'll do a tight loop around it, then head to the far side of the core, then a slow loop back to Jaques.
