The Canonn: Ram Tah scanning survey team : A combined effort

Hi there

I've spent more time searching than monitoring thie forum, so I may have missed something....

....but it seems that everyone is doing their own thing, wandering around aimlessly scanning away.

I'd like to propose using the community to do a combined planetary survey.


The plan is to have lots of pilots starting at the south pole of a planet and heading for the north pole..... each commander flying at 2-3km from the surface and 3km away to the side of each other.

With enough pilots on a single planet, it should be possible to combine all our efforts to find these sites..... instead of doing it independently, with commanders going over the same ground and wasting time and resources in the process.

For example, if 50 commanders did this at the same time, then we'd have a 150km stripe being covered at the same time.

We'd start off in one system at planetoid #1, and once that planet was scanned, we could move to planet 2, and so on until we find something of significance.


So...... who'd be interested in joining this venture?

I'm convinced that thread is holding back individual development of different mysteries.

By being such a mega thread everyone goes there with all their different ideas for all the different mysteries.

Stifling the contributions of non-canon members who just lurk instead of contribute. Also hiding important discussions behind 100s of pages of tin foil hat theories.

This all works in frontiers favour. Gives them more time to actually finish the mysteries. Probably why the mysteries don't get their own sub forum. Nah one thread is enough to cover ALL the mysteries and lore from ingame.

What happens *if* multiple major plot developments happen at same time. Ie formadine rift + aliens + unregistered satellites. Good luck having a coherent discussion!
