The case against Salvation and INRA and why a re-think is necessary

This is bit of message from part of Salvation's opposition and something I think the community needs to be aware of. The crimes of Salvation and INRA are deep and go back a really damn long time. That said, here's the short version of things with a document covering much more of the specifics. The loss of life from mycoid probably totals somewhere in the billions. That said there was flip-side to all this - most harmed would have been androids, cyborgs, or artificial intelligence (salvageable items in-game suggest we did dabble in this).

I would strongly encourage all to read this. We approach Salvation's superweapon being activated. It is possible some of this was done in order to secure peace given what we know about Guardians and why they were annihalated (and possibly to avoid the same fate in humans). Regardless, senseless destruction of sentient beings is absolutely not the way to go. I honestly believe we need to consider how we have enabled a madman who thinks extermination of a whole species is acceptable. Further, if there is indeed a connection between Sohalian Fever/Cerberus Plague/Mycoid, INRA and its enablers tested this on human population centers. If this is the case, it is but a matter of time until Salvation turns on humanity once again. Please consider this when making decisions over the next few weeks. The future depends on it.

Plant pathology laboratories throughout known space are fighting to save the plant species group collectively known as pelargoniums(v.i.). All known specimens are suffering from wilt, glanders of the root structure and gleek. A range of fungicidal treatments, together with tissue culture regeneration has been tried but results are, as yet, discouraging. "It is as if the entire universe has become hostile to their growth" said a researcher at the New Californian horticultural Research Station. 'No matter what we do the plants refuse to grow." A similar disease outbreak two thousand years ago - the cause of which was never identified - disappeared spontaneously.

Editor's note: These plants are popularly known by gardeners as geraniums, a confusion of nomenclature that dates back into pre-history.

Q: In the Codex Knowledge base, it says the INRA developed Mycoid in 3151 (Codex - Knowledge Base - The Thargoids - Vulnerabilities). On the Human-Thargoid Contact page, it says the INRA was established in 3193. Should we take this as a typo, or something shady like 'Formally established in 3193 but worked long before'?

I would read it as formally established...

3239 - Initial breakout of Sohalian Fever/Initial testing of mycoid

OTHER news this month surrounds the sudden outbreak of Sohalian fever on all three inhabited planets and their surrounding moons, orbital stations and orbital trading posts in the system of Sohalia (-1,5). The fever was first reported in 3239 after the import of some Imperial grain to the system's second planet: Molotovworld. That outbreak spread within hours to all inhabited areas and proved so exceptionally difficult to control that all landing areas were quarantined. Medical experts on this occasion have created isolation units at all star ports and space stations so that incoming pilots should be completely safe.

Extrusions like this will always benefit any discourse, and the drawing of these lines appears to have been time consuming. Nearly forgotten local incidents or anecdotes often provide the lamplights that reveal the scene; and in this case that scene is one of monstrous proportions. Salvation was an old century fool who deceived the human race and lead to the death of Cmdr Jameson most likely under his orders. There is no salvation from a man with old ways of thinking. Thargoids were being used to benefit the human race and it's been going on for century now. The reason for the attacks on Inra and the Stations with Aegis residing in those station was due to the fact that thargoid tech devices were in those station.

While the people are blind to the grand picture of the situation, they would rather be showered in credits. Ram Tah is no different he helped create these weapons and as of now no longer of use. He helped create and made a mess of the situation if anything he is just apparently apart of the problem and not the solution.

Looked to Professor Palin instead of Ram Tah.

Just a heads up is Ram Tah said his working with Palin, but no word has been said from Palin about this cooperation. Which should be very sketchy right now until Palin says anything about it.
