Man that commodities info in the galaxy map is excellent. Previously I always ignored the supply missions as it was just too hard to find out where to get what they need without going to an external website (which is a pain as I play in VR). I am now taking on more missions that want me to supply stuff as I can check local sellers and prices first and work out where to buy.
However, I am primarily a miner and was disappointing to find after a long mining mission that commodities like Painite and Platinum are not in the commodity list on the gal map. I understand it will only show sell prices as you cant buy those items, but it would sure help us miners since the prices do fluctuate a lot. I was hoping to be able to find the best place in my region to sell all the painite I mined. Unfortunately I had to once again take off the headset and use a website to find the best places to sell.
The new feature is so close, but no cigar.
