Anyone doing the current CG? i went over to the system last night, and there's one small platinum hotspot on one of the rings there. Few around for 20 mins prospecting and didn't see any platinum lol.

The rings in the CG system are metal rich, which is not practical for platinum as you'll only find them in core asteroids.
Mine in Delkar, planet 7, ring A (metallic). If you're feeling like a hotshot, you can even mine in the high-res overlapping the platinum hotspot. Just don't go further than 20km from the centre.

its a metal rich ring. Thos eonly drop platinum if you do core mining. To get laser mining drops you need to mine in a metallic ring. As St0rmFury said.
And, for all the VERY few asteroids with a core, only a few will have plat.
Not good if you want to participate in the CG.
the first reply was perfect mate. i have no issue just go to the system the first reply mentioned. Delkar, planet 7, ring A (metallic)end of. its one jump away from the CG. i have mined a billion out of it this week.
