I think the OP's season 3 list violates the Frontier basic tenet of "Provide maximum boredom while providing minimum gameplay choices."

That makes some sense. Throughout 2.x Frontier have been taunting us with the idea of Thargoid invasions but there hasn't been anything appear that's truly significant. It wouldn't be surprised if they hold off until season 3 for it to fully develop as they can use that as a selling point. You want to fight the Thargoids? Buy Season 3....

If that's their route I can 100% guarantee I wont buy season 3 then. There would have to be something else pretty amazing to make it worth subjecting myself to 'lol aliens.'

I would rather have the whole "aliens" thing put on the backburner to be honest. Have FD concentrate on fixing or improving what they have then pushing forward with "we teased it all throughout season 2 now dish out money to see what it was all about in season 3!" Season 3 becomes another 2 year trickle of "alien" related content , while Wings, Powerplay and CQC rot along with other placeholder assets.
