Below is an FAQ for the Dangerous games. It's a living post so feel free to ask your questions below and we will continue to update this thread.
Q: What are the Dangerous Games?
A: The Dangerous Games are a community event where player groups will be able to compete to earn the right to become an official power in the game!
==
Q: What phases are the Dangerous games broken into
A: The Dangerous games will be done in 3 phases. The Pledges/Votes, The wildcard games and the Rise to Power
==
Q: What is the Rise to power?
This is the final step in the games. 5 teams have already qualified by having the largest factions. One wildcard will also enter these final games. The Rise to Power will be decided through a series of Community Goals and scored to determine the winning group.
==
Q: What are the wildcard games?
A: The Wildcard games were open to all groups who nominated themselves and then were selected as the top 5 groups from the public vote. These groups will play a mini series of Community Goals and the winner will earn a spot in the finals.
==
Q: What is the pledges stage?
A: The pledges, or votes, will be the first stage in the games. The community will decide what groups qualify for the Wildcard games. The top 5 groups from the vote will progress to the next phase.
==
Q: What input will the groups have on their power?
A: Groups will be able to suggest how their power is represented. Everything from their allegiance through to all their other details. However, all of these suggestions will be checked and reviewed with Frontier Developers. The final power will be balanced and the Frontier Development team will have the final say on the power including any requested lore of history for the power.
==
Q: Can groups work together?
A: Absolutely! However, remember that a group can only be recognised in the power if they are a public coalition. Other than that we strongly advise groups to work together, to ensure that the event is a truly dynamic and interesting affair.
==
Q: What is a Coalition?
A: A Coalition is formed from 2 or more groups and act together for mutual benefit. Coalitions are different from alliances or other pacts between groups as they must be declared before the event in order to be represented in the power. The winning group will not be able to recognise them in any way in their power if they are not officially announced before the voting begins. After the votes begin no changes can be made to groups and coalitions.
==
Q: Who represents the Coalition?
A: If a Coalition wins only the faction that qualified or nominated will be able to discuss the power with Frontier. This is to avoid having conflicting requests. It is important that the coalition representative (from the faction that qualified) is able to represent the requirements and desires of the coalition fully. Frontier are not responsible for the outcome of decision made by a representative which are not in line with other groups wishes or agreements
==
Q: Will a power be added where their faction is?
A: Not exactly. The power will be created in a way that keeps the existing powers in mind. Therefore it is likely to be placed in a location which will be most suitable and may not reflect their existing factions location.
==
Q: Will the lore I've created for my group be guaranteed?
A: Player groups and faction lore is not guaranteed to be represented. The developers will do what they can to support these ideals and will make every effort to represent the groups wishes as much as possible but will ultimately have final say on the game and it’s lore.
==
Q: Will the Community Goals be forced or incentivised to play in open?
A: No, currently the game is player on all platforms and the Community Goals will also follow this same process.
