I don't know if there is any benefit to this either. I'm thinking it's just a faction name harking back to the novel that came with Elite (84), and there is no special benefit beyond that.

I'm impressed you've found enough missions to get friendly with them, last time I checked they were at 0% influence in Shinratra. I'd like to boost my rep with them but the missions are so hard to come by.

I am also based at Shinrarta Dehzra, & have recently been running Ops & Missions for the Dark Wheel, I recently had a Pick Up Tobacco Run, (25.T) which earned me 247.k. Though I am keen to develop influence, & progress seems slow, I am very happy to take High Value Ops that are being offered, one other thing I have recently noticed, is that I am getting requests from The Dark Wheel, for Reactive Armour, so maybe, just maybe, something is stirring in the quiet calm of Founders World, & The Pilots Federation, whom I am allied with, may soon have to fend off Military Incursions by The Dark Wheel.

Missions for Dark Wheel seem to have increased since 1.1. Does look like something might be building at Shinrarta. Hope the Wheel doesn't go to war with the Pilot's Fed, wouldn't know who to come out in favour of.
