The defence of Salome: a legal or illegal action?

With multicrew arriving before this Salome event I just wondered where our crew stands with this?
If we're defending her and possibly repelling other Commanders what is the in game legal status of this so our multicrew members don't get kicked?

Attempted murder of Patreus: Guilty
Destruction of a prison ship to fake her death: Guilty
Theft of meta alloys from Darnelle's progress: Guilty

And these are just crimes she's commited herself, not including ones carried out in her name.

She should swing from the longest yardarm in Facece Dock.

Aye but what's the legal status of either side?
Committing ILLEGAL acts when in multicrew, if your activities are set to LEGAL, will get your crew kicked.
So to spare people's blushes when in Multicrew which setting should be used for either side?

Sorry. I managed to completely misread your post :D

I'd imagine if shes got a bounty it'll class as a legal.action to shoot at her, and anyone defending her will need to use illegal actions, unless the hero of justice in question also has a bounty.

No worries about the misread. Just hope there's some official word ahead of time to spare FDev, Drew Wagar and all the players, who invested so much time into this, a face palm of epic proportions all because somebody didn't get their settings straight!

So tell me again how having all the for/against Salome in one system possibly with a capitol ship hanging about for fun, is not going to end up with a heck of a lot of rebuys.

Its very much Kahina's MO. Does what she wants and to hell with the consequences.

During the 'reclamation' of her birthright she nearly brought the Empire and Federation to war due to her actions, and during the process put down brutally the slave uprising which had been brought on by her father flouting Imperal Slave regulations, after he had napalmed the planet prior to imperial occupation.

The apple doesnt fall from the tree, does it?

I personally right here and now am calling it. It's all connected. There's a syncronicity about it all, but I am not going to get involved with some Lara Croft wannabe. Being 1000ly from help in a busted up ship is not going to be fun. They can just cutscene her out of harm, that option is not available to us. But, I'm sure the sky will be crowded with trigger happy pew-pew merchants, and I genuinely and sincerely hope they have lots of fun. I'll be watching every vid on youtube afterwards, and if I'm wrong, you can all poke fun at me and say so, I'll +1 every post.

But I'm sticking with the time honoured words of the late great Admiral Ackbar.

Technically it is both.
Its illegal, towards the faction that dislikes your actions, its approved of by those that want to do the same.

I'm assuming that it's unoccupied. Evidently, locked by an unknown permit at the moment. If there's no stations in the system where she's found, everything is legal.

What is this "Salome Event"? When? Where? If it's some major storyline event, one should be able to read it up on Galnet I hope?

Ah thanks, I read that already - the wording "this Salome event" in the first post made me think there was an exact date/time/place announced for something happening, but it seems I didn't miss it ;).
