The Definitive Elite Universe Timeline (History of Elite Universe)

Is there such a thing? I saw something posted on a different thread but it was suggested that wasn't official. Just looking for some info on the history of human development in the Elite Universe. If anyone could point me any info then I would be mightily obliged.

I suspect Frontier don't want a definitive timeline, at least not an official one. While there is uncertainty there is endless discussion and people stay interested. Once something is definitive it becomes limited and much less interesting for people. Fantasy sells; fact does not.

Yessish. Dave 'Selezen' Hughes has worked on one for ages, and was instrumental in publishing the history that was used as canon by the writers of the official Elite: Dangerous books. Dave's contribution is going to be an RPG game: it is late due to health issues, but he keeps working away at it. I pledged for the RPG (which I will never play) largely to get all the background stuff he promised.

Is the Combing of the conflicting Elite and Frontier:Elite2 + Frontier:First Encrounters time lines canon?

Thanks everyone - I will take a look. Just playing with some ideas for writing. This will be a good start.
