The disappearing scav bug is really aggravating!

It also follows the expectation of reasonable quality.
"Reasonable" is purely subjective.

Some don't consider ED to be of reasonable quality, but I do. I didn't for a long time, until I stopped hoping they would fix it. I'm now certain ED will never be fixed the way I'd like it, so I just enjoy it for what it is.

ALL they have to do to fix this one is... if there are no scavs within 2km of the middle of the base, the mission is complete.

This will also solve the problem of teammates showing up halfway through the mission with different kill counts.

Not sure if this is the fix.

Depends how they've fixed it.
From what I've seen, it's usually caused by one of the NPCs bugging out and walking in a straight line away from the settlement. Once they reach a certain distance they fall through the ground, never to be seen again and the mission kill count becomes impossible to achieve.

Nah, the disappearing scav is when you are asked to kill X scavengers at unpowered base and when you get there 1 of them falls through the earth or walks off.

I thought it was Burke and Hare following me around when all the bodies disappeared :), only problem I have now is the big bounties you could claim after downing a scavenger seem to have gone. :)

Bounties seem to be intermittent, sometimes you get them and sometimes you don't, but are more likely to get them if killed on foot and not with an SRV. It also seems to help if you scan as you bag em. If you kill them with an SRV they tend to fall into the building or the ground and very often you will see a leg sticking out of the ground or a pile of bodies in a building... Sometimes you can scan them and the bounty registers, but not often.

i just did an exterminate scavengers mission. I had only 12 of 21 targets show up. Turns out they were dropped a bit away from the settlement and stood there, waiting for... something. To their defense, it was dark, and they probably had not paid their night vision subscription.

I found them from the ship by their torches. I don't think I would have had a chance to find them in daylight. But in the end I got all of them.

Its the exterminate scavenger missions which seem to be sparse on additional bounties, only seem to get the big bounties on level 4 missions now, lower levels extra bounties don't appear to be available. Scanning shows bounties less than 5000, couple of weeks ago I was getting as high as 60000 on extra bounties.

Thiss seems to happen a lot on drilling sites where the scavengers are dropped north east of the site, I have had similar in combat missions, its not a big problem now I just reset and keep knocking them off :)

Likely didn't pay the bribe to the pilot...
