The Dangerous Games and becoming a power

I'm wondering if the current event called the Dangerous games will ever happen again and if not will there be any other way of becoming a power? If you are doing it again then could you roughly tell me when and also how long do the Dangerous Games last for?

First time it's happened so we have no idea. If it works out I guess it'll probably come around again but it probably will be fairly rare.
Currently there are no other ways of a player group becoming a power without FDev changing things behind the scenes. As above if it works out on this first time I see no reason why in 6 months or 12 months there won't be a re-run for a 2nd player power. If it all goes terribly wrong the idea may just get binned and we only have AI powers in the future.

Thanks for helping me out again, I've been looking for ages trying to find all of this out but I couldn't find it anywhere.
