What do you guys think this door is for? Where does it go? I find it fascinating. I can't stop looking at in in the debug camera mode. I love details like this in the game!

I think all ships - certainly the Asp, T7 and Python - have it.
It's just the rear hatch on the ship. I believe most Lakon models have the rear hatch, and most of the bigger ships do as well.
I believe it is an emergency exit to jump out of in case of an emergency. Later, when ship to ship boarding is added to the game, another ship will be able to grapple and enter through that door and then an interior fight for the ship will be possible.
Tradesman's Entrance?
That is your main entrance into the ship. Just like the Millennium Falcon ... and pretty much every other spaceship ever shown in a scifi movie. You'll notice it opens when your gear is down.

He means the door that's sitting 4 stories up. and IIRC the Type9 doesn't have a ramp that drops down like the T6 does.
Neither does the conda. and a few others. I imagine they'll add loading/unloading ramps or tubes eventually that lead to these airlocks.
lol yeah there's no driver and passenger door for space ships. Just hatches and ramps.
Really?? hu. sorry then... So how do you walk into your ship? Or do you climb a ladder like getting into a WW2 Bomber..
