The easiest Mission from hell ever

I was on Azeban orbital and got a mission to come back with 3 units of algae for $3600 in credit, no brainier, right?

I finally get a break with an easy mission that should be quick and painless and make a lot of money!

I fly over to Azeban City and buy some algae, but when I try to take off I can't launch, the ship was stuck on the landing platform, so I save, exit out and come back in.

When the game relaunches I'm inside the walls of the station just floating around, my ship starts taking damage and I get a red trespassing note on the screen, so I quickly save and exit again.

When the game launches again I floating out and space, good except now I have A $2100 fine.

So I start super cruising towards the orbital station, only 1 light year away. When I get there I can't drop out of warp, I wait over 10 minuets before quitting the game, AGAIN!

When I start up again I approach the station and request docking, Docking denied it says. So I fly around for 10-15 minuets trying again and again. It won't give me permission to land! so I exit out AGAIN!

Come back in , same problem, no clearance. So I super cruise around for about 5 mins and come back, this time it lets me land.

I pull up the bulletin board and it says can't download updated missions from server, I try again and again and again. nothing. So I exit out AGAIN!

Come back in and the bulletin board comes up, the mission is not there. I check my transactions, it's gone.

2 hours later all I got out of all that work was a $2100 fine.

Unlucky is right, all these bugs are already known issues, except I haven't seen anything about missions not showing up when you get to the destination station.

I just picked up another easy mission, bring some fish from Azeban to Ibootis, no weird bugs this time, the mission was just not on the board when I got there and it no longer showed up on my transactions.

I think its time for me to just go do something else for the rest of the day. I wasted half of it getting no where in the game.

I don't want to stop playing but I'm just not getting anywhere today.

oh yeah, one other thing.

Whenever I do a courier mission where someone gives me cargo to transport, and I get there and the mission isn't showing up on the board any more, the cargo shows up as stolen in my inventory.

I believe I get a fine for that too, its happened twice now. I'm not only getting nowhere in this game today, I'm going in the hole every time I try to complete a mission.

Time to quit before I go crazy!

This kinda thing happened to me a number of times - through various bugs and my own stupidity i've restarted at least 8 times since ver20something n like 15 times+ since wangling a beta - i usually just scout unknowns near freeports extraction sites till i hit a gold drop - usually enough to get a decent coupling, which feels like the only thing needed to give that tub a shot in a 3 way. Anyways just scouting for bounties n goldrops (till the missionin's fixed again) will putya in a cobra in no time... I think i even skipped the new (to me) baby fighter one time, an extra gun n speed i didn't need (military armour innit).

Easy, no time to go crazy just yet! Every mission has a deadline, you can see it when chosing the mission and also in the "transaction" tab on your left cockpit screen. Failing to deliver before the deadline results in terminating the mission and the cargo is considered stolen from now on.

And for the hangar lock bug: if you find yourself stuck on the landing platform, disconnect the internet for few seconds, and connect again, works for me every time. I really hope they will fix it soon, thats the worst bug ive found so far.

1. The mission not appearing on the destination station was probably that it expired. Missions only are removed from the bulletin board about five minutes before they expire, so it's easy to accidentally take a mission that has only a few minutes left and not be able to complete it in time.

2. Much of the rest was lag or connectivity issues, which are unfortunately prevalent in certain areas. The "safe" way to launch is to use "Enter Hanger" then "Return to Surface". If you end up rotated in the correct direction, you can launch safely with no further issues. If the animation doesn't happen, quit to menu and start again.
